Established Our founder, Mr Boon, started an ESL class for non-English speaking  foreign children attending Saint Maur International School in 1970.

In 2001 he also founded Eagle Preschool for Japanese children in the Kannai  area of Yokohama.

This school moved to Totsuka two years later, and changed its  name to Yokohama International Preschool.

An elementary class was added in  2003, so we changed our name to Kanagawa International School.
